Google occasionally changes their logo for holidays and sometimes they are great. Today they seem to be celebrating the centennial of flight (Kitty Hawk...)

Check it out. (If you don't see this thread before the logo goes back to normal, there is usually a link to their historic logos. Sometimes they are even better en mass!)

That is neat, Pauline! Thank you for pointing it out. There has been a lot of publicity the last couple of days in remembrance of that flight 100 years ago.

Have any of you ever been to Kitty Hawk, NC? It is a stunning place with so much history, and the biggest sand dune I have ever seen! Can't remember right this second what they call it, but it has a name, and I know I climbed it with my dad a few years ago. It is so big that people hang-glide off the top of it!
