The Amazing Water Cat

A new member of the International Friends of Mango (OK so the organization doesn't really exist but Mango thinks it should) named Helena in Switzerland sent me a few pictures of her Ruddy Aby Faramir. Faramir loves to play in the bathtub when there is warm water in the tub. He also loves balloons and carries them around by the knot bumping people with the balloon or batting it around until it pops then he starts meowing until he gets another to play with. Fun with Abys...

It's all water weight.

Actually he's an average male Aby weighing between 8 to 11 pounds (3.6 to 5 kg).

Mango is not crazy about water. He ran into the shower once and ran out soaked. He won't come near it now. Peaches likes a regular bath. She gets one about every month. Two very different Abys

Filou steps on my shoulders when I'm in the tub and I am sure most of you have seen him giving nosekissies to Siegmar when he was in the tub but my boy would never dive like Faramir

Hehe... amazing. Checkers jumped in--and out of--a full bathtub once, and was terrified of the bathroom for weeks afterward. Actually bathing him would be a mammoth undertaking

LOL great pic. My Sunny is an Aby mix and he loves to play in the water dishes but I don't think he'd ever jump into a tub of water. He's also jumped into my shower after I was finished so I guess he doesn't mind getting his feet a little wet.

I have never seen a kitty that loves the water that much. It was really cool. Bob flick this paw in the water, but nothing like Faramir.

Great pics. I forgot to mention before that the only other cat that I've seen in a tub was SAS's Miley. She posted a pic of her when she was still a kitten and said that she liked to play in the bathtub water. I guess it's an Aby thing.
