Tommy catches sneaky intruder! Tail here!

For so long now, Tommy has had a feeling of something waiting behind his back, but always when he turned, it was no longer there. Yet he knew the threat existed, a constant and lurking danger to his pack! Always, if he could just look quick enough, he might be able to catch this lurking and mocking intruder.

Well, finally he did it! He caught the intruder and bit it good! The fight was harrowing and dangerous, but Tommy emerged triumphant. The surveillance camera captured these shots...

First, he searched high and low. Here he checks under his blanket.


Then, he turns suddenly, and there it is!! He grabs for it!


A harrowing and ferocious battle took place then, and it was not pretty!

This opponent was particularly cunning and slippery, and alas, it got to be too much for Tommy to hold on.




Well, unfortunately, the intruder escaped, but it is believed Tommy gave it a good scare. To be safe, Tommy brought in a former tennis ball to illustrate what happens to intruders...



So beware to all intruders... don't try your luck. You might be next to meet this vicious dog!!

Thanks all . He's such a goof! The tail thing is a game he's only ever played with me. But he knows without fail it will get me laughing and egging him on. You should hear him snarl as he goes in circles, tugging on that tail. When I laugh, he will "Rawr!" even louder.

The cutest part is, he will be looking up at my face while he's doing it, like he's watching my expression, waiting for a smile. You can kind of see him looking up in this shot. He's watching for my reaction:



Like I have said, he's never done this with anyone else, even David who he loves to play with so much. It is almost like our little inside joke.

Oh Tommy--my Kito knows that intruder well.
He will chase it for a while, but he never gets it--his "intruder" is curled up, and he can never reach it. Boy does he get frustrated too!!! He goes in circles, snarling and growling at it, and when he hears us laughing, he looks up as if to say "what?"
