When Your Dog Wants A Hug

When Smokey wants to get my attention, just to get some
hugs & lovin, he always comes to me and does this big play
bow which then turns into a contortionist like stunt which always
gets my attention. Check this out. LOL.

That is so sweet! I need to get Mickey in the "sit" for me to actually give him a hug. And he just stands there. Lol

I was actually trying to get some good individual pics of the
kitties to post so I had the camera ready. Smokey does this
behavior every day & I've always said I'd love to get a shot of
him doing it. Never had a dog do that before. He is just the
sweetest natured dog I've ever had. Loves other animals and
loves being snuggled. It seems to relax him.

Buddy would always think a hug was an invitation to play &
I had to sneak up on him when he was sleepy to give him any
kisses & hugs. He was much to dignified for such baby stuff.

Here's one more of Smokey. All his white coloring is on his
underside & a few toe tips.

Sadie is our big hugger (and kisser). She will on command put one paw on your shoulder and rest her headon the other shoulder. It is so sweet! Sometimes, she even initiaes the hug and will use her paw to pull you to her
