    Catnapper Brand Window hammock

Can anyone help me? Boomer just loves his hammock but up until now i haven't actually attempted to install it. Now that i'm trying to put it all together i'm completely baffled by how to put the cover back on once the legs are installed. It fits if i put it on backwards- but then I can't attach it to the windowsill. I'm so confused I've lost the instructions and I am certainly not an engineer. Does anyone know what i have to do to get that silly cover back on? My husband pointed out that i'll probably have to cut it, but then will it hold Boomer's weight?

See how I have it now? it's just propped up between the desk and the windowsill. ANy help would be appreciated

Missy, you have to put the cover on *before* you install the legs. The screws actually go through the cover! Weird I know, but that is what the directions say. They even came with little white stickers to mark the fabric where to poke a hole. (you put the legs on loosely first to see which screw hole to use) It is easy enough to remove the legs and reinstall them through the fabric. We had to do this also!! Also. the cover will bunch up a bit at the window where the velcro is, but I took a knife blade and poked it in snuggly next to the window.

ah ha! thank you! I still haven't worked up the guts to actually attach it to the sill, but the legs are on at least! I worry about when it comes time to take it OFF of the sill.. how much paint will it take with it?

we have lived in base housing all of our lives and have managed to patch up everything, even if it means kleenex and white toothpaste Seriously, that velcro strip should come up with a hair dryer and a putty knife and if any paint does come up, white shoe polish and a coat of wax works great You might also just use a few pieces of the velcro on the sill, rather than the whole strip - like some at each end and in the middle maybe.
