Tommy and Tasha *pictures*

Tommy had his cuteness aura on today and I snapped quite a few sweet pics of him. Most of these shots are taken in my office. It has a hardwood floor, and so yes those are various blankets/comforters etc scattered all over the floor for them to make nests on.

First, Tommy was playing for awhile with his large tennis ball. When he got tired out, he settled down but in true retriever fashion, he preferred to keep the ball in his mouth =p.



And he got sleepier...

He actually did fall asleep for awhile holding on to it.


This is just the two of them curled up and comfy. Ignore that bird seed on the floor


Tommy likes to keep his stash of toys close by. In this one there in the back is a rubber tug thingy, his tennis ball, a large nylabone, another mostly chewed nylabone under his mouth, and a well-chewed blue dental bone.

Awww Tommy. How can you not love that face? His coat does looks silky and soft. Tasha is just beautiful, as always. She reminds me of Nala.

Thanks I truly adore both of them. I'm so thankful that every day I can work here with them close by. Sure they can be distracting, wanting cuddles, pets, to play here and there, but I never mind.

They are all in the middle of a molt right now, so they look like ragamuffins . The other night Dusk and Twi had a night terror episode and he lost all his tail feathers flapping around (I'm sure they were loose anyway from the molt). Poor guy.

He he! I know what you mean! My tiels are going through their molt too, and though they don't look that much like *ragamuffins*, their crests look kinda funny, because they lost some of the big ones, and are growing new small ones, so its all uneven. Looks cute! LOL! Be sure to show us pics of them when their done getting their new gorgeous feathers! That's when birdies look their BEST! When they're completely done with their molt.
