Waiter, I found this in my soup...

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...d_nm/condom_dc

As terrible as this story sounds I am amazed that
this woman DID NOT see what was on her spoon...

Of course, she was probably feeding herself with a shovel or drinking out of the bowl.

Calamari or shrimp??? In clam chowder???

What the story does not cover is that the women
made the server take the original order back because it was cold, then claimed the server had an 'attitude' after....

    Cruel joke or scam????

Maybe she just asked for "condiments" and the waiter got it wrong????

Sounds like a scam to me.

If the server wanted to do something to her, I can hardly see them putting a condom in there. They usually do something you can't see or prove like hocking a loogie into it or a 'sneezer' or something.

Sounds like, to me, that she wanted to try and make some money and threw it in there herself...so she could sue...i dont know...weird story...i doubt the waiter did it...maybe another customer, or the woman herself...

I mean, how could you possibly have an enitre condom on your spoon and not see it?!?!

If she is indeed capable of this, then she must really be the life of the party!

And come on, if you get anxiety and depressed because there's a condom in your soup- you need to get some real things to worry about!

    Right??!!

She has no other problems in her life.
It is gross, but sounds like a scam to me.
I work in a restaurant, and was thoroughly disgusted the day someone found a band-aid in their salad--she didn't sue or throw up, but we did comp her meal.

I can't even fathom how one could end up in a bowl of soup--it is a bit fishy though that she had already returned it--sometimes the servers get a little annoyed with high-maintenance people
