More pictures of my girls "synchronizing"

I have already posted this one some days ago:

Now the other day, they have been more or less "synchronized" again on their blanket, look here:

It's so funny that they do that! Can you tell who is who?

(sorry for the poor quality of some of the pics)

Kirsten - I think all of your pictures are excellent - very good clear quality. Are you a photographer? If I could turn out anything like yours, I would be pretty proud of myself!! The cats always look soft enough to touch!

I agree with the other comments - those pics look perfect to me!! (Of course with two such beautiful models it's hard to take a bad pic!) I THINK Lily seems to have a darker patch on the little forehead?? Is that right?? Otherwise they look like TWINS!!

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!

I have to throw this in first. I don't see an issue with the pics and even after you pointed out which ones, I still don't see it. We are however much harder on ourselves then we should be somtimes. You can have your own opinon, but I am going to think they all look good.

    Enough of that.

I love the kitties. Do you think that they practice while you aren't looking? They sure look like they do.

Well tell them that all of there hard work is worth the effort. I am in love.

Give them both head scratchings for me.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.

GREAT PICTURES!! of two beautiful cats!! I just want to reach out and touch!
This is my guess...I think Lily is in the front. I'm sure I'm wrong but I took a shot at it!!

I agree: they must practise a lot to be that much synchronized

I think Lily is a little more greyish and Luna a little more brownish.

They are the best cat friends I know

Notice the dark line at the corner of the eye?
Luna's is concave. (down in the middle)
Lily's is convex. (up in the middle)

I THINK that's how to tell them apart.
Also shows up well in pic 4

    OOOps, reversed my explaination.

Lily's is convex. (down in the middle)
Luna's is concave. (up in the middle)
Hmmm, that's an interesting detail, but when "convex" means "down in the middle" (sorry, I can't remember, too long ago LOL), this is Luna, not Lily. It's the other way around.

Okay, Luna is the one in the background, and Lily in the front. She's (still) a bit smaller, and has more black between her ears (as Ally Cat's Mommy had pointed out). And Barbara is also right about the greyish and brownish shades in their fur.

Actually it's easy to tell them apart: Luna has a lot of orange areas in her fur, while Lily has absolutely no red/orange. Luna has this cute milk coffee colored paw. And their markings are also different: Luna's "stripes" are bigger and wider and she only has a few, while Lily has tiny ones and a lot of them. All in all, Lily is much darker than Luna.

Their noses look different, too; that convex and concave theory goes here as well! And Luna has more white around her mouth. They also have different whiskers. Luna's are very long while Lily's are short and kind of crinkled!

    Did this help?

sirrahbed, I like to photograph, but I'm no pro. It's a hobby.

CatDad, you're probably right and you're harder with yourself. I just think I've taken better photos in the past than these ones, that's all.

Kirsten, I think that these are beautiful pictures. It sure is hard to tell them apart in pics. It's probably easier if we could see them in person.
