This morning while getting my household off to what I had hoped to be a good start, my two dogs decided to bust through our fence and go terrorizing the neighborhood! The good thing is atleast they stick together. They had only been in the backyard for about 15 min. and when I went to let them back in, hmm... no dogs? I called for them hoping they had just made their jail break. No such luck, I knew I was wasting my breathe and precious time in finding them. SO, I rushed my son, who was waiting for me to take him to school, into the truck and we circled the neighborhood. No Luck! My son, Loki, said "Mom, I'm keeping my eyes peeled, okay?" He gets so worried when this happens. I told him when I dropped him off at school not to worry about it that I would find them. So after dropping him off I called the police and told them about the situation and gave them all the info. The last time this happened they labeled our dogs as VICIOUS! They are far from vicious but they are pretty intimidating. However, to close this long story, I went back out to find them. I asked anyone I saw if they had spotted them. I drove past a house that had some construction going on and I figured if they had been anywhere near, these guys probably saw them. Sure enough they directed me to where they had last been seen and I took off. 1 block away from there 2 elderly ladies, probably terrified were trying to figure out how to get one of my dogs, Zeus, our Rotty, the more intimidating one out of their yard. But he just wanted to play with their beautiful Shep. Hercules, our rotty shep mix, was on the outside of the fence trying to figure out how he could join in the fun! Needless to say I got them both in my truck, finally!, and apologized repeatedly.
Here is a pic of my repeat offenders
