We need a home for Max!!!

Someone my boss works with in another office is looking to get rid of her 2 year old Malamute, Max. I cannot take him as much as I would absolutely love to, so I thought I'd post an "ad" here...

Is anyone in the general Maryland area looking to adopt a dog? I could definitely help with the transport of Max if someone in the NJ/PA/WV/VA area would be willing to take him in.

Please let me know SOON as this perfectly good dog will be put to sleep if a new home can't be found.

Have they contacted the local Malamute or sled dog rescue group? I know there are several throughout the country-maybe someone can help get him into a foster home till they can find a permanent home for him. If I was closer, and didn't rent-I would definately take him, - if the boys got a long I would probably even keep him -I love Malamutes- But I don't know if my Tyr would love an adult male Malamute in his home!
He wasn't thrilled about the Saint I fostered - and Malamutes are less likely to back down from a fight.
