    A death in the "family"

This morning one of our Oscar fish died. I waited to tell you guys cause I wasn`t sure if my mom wanted to tell you or not.

I`m not really sure what happened. My step-dad found him in the tank and dead. his name was Snowballflake . He and Gracie, another Oscar fish we have,we`re mates. He was really mean to other fish that got near "his woman"

    RIP Snowballflake! We`ll miss you!

Here are a couple pictures of him:

The tank looks so empty now. It's a 150 gallon with only 6 fish in it and 3 of them are small. I don't know if I'll add anything else to it right now.

Poor little guy suffered for at least two days while I tried to figure out what was going on with him. I still don't know what killed him.

I always wished that I had success with Oscars - for some reason I just couldn't raise them. I've heard so many stories about what intelligent and affectionate pets they make. I'm sorry about your loss.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!
