    Ear problems

    Sadie, a sweet loving Golden Retriever (4 yrs. & two prior owners), came to us as a foster child. (we work with G.R.rescue) She will never leave us now. She is hypothryoid and been on medication now a month. Will be retested next week. The only problem that is not clearing up with meds is a waxy/yeast type problem in mostly right ear. I clean/treat with wash (from vet) daily. (usually two/three times) It really does not seem to be clearing up, and she scratches at it alot. Open to suggestions please.

    This issue has been addressed before, so go back and check. First thing that comes to my mind is a food allergy of some sort. I changed my Lab's food from Lamb and Rice to Chicken and Rice, and for me the problem was solved. Good luck, ear infections are a pain in the ...
