They say that people start to resemble their pets...

What about starting to act like your pet? Or your pet acting like you?

Nebo is sooooooooo NOT a morning dog...my mom drags me out of bed, then I have to drag him out of bed. He's not a dog that gets up at 5 a.m. and licks your face. Half of the time I convince him to get up and I let him outside and he goes right back to bed. I'm not a morning person either.

We both have water "issues." Nebo loves lakes, rivers, etc. He loves to splash and wade in them. But get him where he can't touch, and he freaks. Just like me once again. I never go where I can't touch.

Nebo takes time to warm up to people. He's not overly outgoing and friendly towards strangers. That's me too. I'm rather shy, and it takes a while before I will really talk to somebody. Some people think I'm rude, but I'm really not trying to be, I'm just not good at being friendly.

Nebo is quiet. He's not one to bark much at all. I've always been quiet. I remember in school if I'd say something 10 kids would turn and look at me, shocked, like "OMG you can talk?"

We're both wonderful at making messes and clutter. It's a talent...I leave stuff all over the house, and so does he. He is constantly getting toys out of his box and leaving them in various rooms about the house. Drives my parents insane!

We both also love hiking/camping. I can tell when I take him to the mountains he's totally in his "element."

Does anybody else think they share personality traits with their dogs? Or am I the only crazy one?

Me and Kai are both very clumsy. You can count on us to trip on stairs, trip on air and to hit our head on something. We also don't like to eat our meals all at once. I like to eat little things through out the day. Same goes for him. He likes to pick at his kibble. We both LOVE sleep. Whenever we have time to sleep, we will. Also, we're both a bit shy with strangers. But after a few minutes, we both warm up and starting acting like ourselves.

I've never noticed all these simliarities before!

I guess I'm a lot like Wilbur. We're both VERY outgoing, happy, and bouncy most of the time. When we sleep, we sleep SOUNDLY! We're also very enthusiastic about food, and we're always a little messy looking, with somewhat unkempt hair.

Clover and i are NOT morning people/dog and love to sleep in. we both love to swim or just splash around in shallow water. we both love Flyball we both dislike Obedience work/ Trials thats about all. because Clover LOVES to eat and i could not care less if i eat or not she lives for food.

oh we are both shy with strangers, especially men and are very protective of one another *i try not to be*

Katie and me are much alike.
We are both are quiet and shy. When people come over we just hang around and not make a noise until we got used to them and then we start to talk and be friendly.
Katie and me are Morning people we get up when ever we need to. But we both like to sleep in time-to-time
We both LOVE food. we eat it all the time lol.
We like to be outside and go fo walks when it's peacful.
We are pretty clumsy, we trip over things and bump are head on somehing.
P.S. Wolf_Q- People like that are the same thing with me they are always like "Can you Talk"??

I know what you mean about the "OMG You can talk?!?" lol I get that all the time

Mickey and I don't really resemble eachother and it's a little hard to say because there are 5 other people in the house that he takes to as well. In the morning, my mom lets him out of the cage and then the both of them go to the living room and fall asleep on the couch. He used to wake up early and want to play.

Mickey also drags his toys out of his box and just leaves them there and I always leave my papers and drawings around the house. It's such a mess here!

We also both love apples...lol. I don't think there is much else.

    Ozzy and I..? LOL!

We are both very vocal and talkative. I love to talk alot, and he loves to drive my family insane with his cute barking.
Oz loves to do things he's n ot suppose to. For instance, he likes to chew on ME, not his toys or he likes to steal Darlin's food and not eat his. We're both troublemakers.
And there's other stuff but I've gotta go now!
    I'll finish this up later

Jake and Max are complete opposites, just like my own personalities. hehe

Max is adventurous and fun-loving and impulsive and eager, just like me.

Jake is quiet and contemplative and careful, just like the other me.

The only things they have in common - they're not talkers. Neither am I! (except on Pet Talk)

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

hmm happy and misty are athletic and never tire, I am one of the least althetic people in the city, and I tire VERY quick, I am a morning person, and so are happy and misty, I love to eat, so does misty, happy has to be draged away from the piggies to eat her food, happy and misty are lean, very thine, me on the otherhand, well, I am not fat, but I am not thin either, happy is tall and elegent, I have short and culumsy, misty is just a royal pain in the neck. I am nothing like my dogs, but I dont care that not why they are my buds, they are total opposites of me, and because of this helped change me into a stonger, more likable person

    Hmmm... I should be as beautiful and trim as Klo! She is NOT food orientated! She sure is keeping me active whether I want to or not! Cody and I just kinda synced after a while, having had him so long. Both however, thank God, love(d) to be stroked and petted and massaged. very physical with affection, same as me! {HUGS!}
