    Dr. Laura, anyone????

    >
Does it get any better than this???

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a US radio personality who
    > dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio
    > show. Recently, she said that, as an observant
    > Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination
    > according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned
    > under any circumstance.
    >
    > The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by
    > a US resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's
    > funny, as well as informative:

I kind of like listening to her, though, we don't have her local anymore. Sure, lots gets lost in the delivery, but, I get a kick out of people relying on the bible, absolutely, then, having someone else point out all kinds of inconsistencies...he he he...whom shall we stone today?

I fail to understand people who take the Bible so literally, well at least I fail to agree with them.

She is such a piece of work. I detest her. I think somewhere it says don't judge lest ye be judged.....perhaps she is just picking and choosing.

I'm with Cataholic on this one. I love to listen to the show -- mainly for the inconsistancies! That letter is too, too funny!

I'm saddened by her rigid view on homosexuality because I think that she does make sense on some other issues.

I haven't heard her in a while because she is no longer on our local talk radio station. But frankly, I miss her. I don't always agree with her stance, especially on thee religious topics, but I find I agree with her overall much more than I disagree. I can honestly say that advice she has given others has made me stop and think at times and prevented me from making some pretty serious mistakes, actually.

Just my humble opinion and not directed at the original topic.
