    "She's a good cat mom"

A couple of days ago, I was loading our oldest and most cranky cat, Hana, into to her cat carrier for a trip to the vet. She was giving me one heck of a time, screaming, crying and clawing. About 3 minutes into this, Misao, my very docile and 'fraidy cat-cat, came into the room, screamed at Hana and swatted her twice in the nose. Hana immediately quietted down and stopped fighting with me.

Its almost as if Hana was swearing at me in cat-ese, Misao heard it and came in to give Hana a what for.

I hope I'm still in Misao's good graces when I have to take Hana to the vet again.

So who is the boss in your household??
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

That depends on who you ask....

Each of the cats think they are.

    My husband thinks he is.

But I know that I am because I'm the one who buys and cooks the food.

    Catmandu--

I often avoid that by taking at least two of the three kitties to the vet at once. Since they don't know who's going they usually are too concerned for their own skins to worry too much about helping their fellow cats.
