any dane owners here?

We have fostered a few danes and helped transport several danes.


Here is Asgrim our first dane foster. We put some weight on him.





Here is Gracey our next dane foster, only for about a week, then she went to another foster.





Here is DJ our next dane foster. He survived parvo and a broken leg.





Marshall was our most recent foster. We put pounds on him too. We are taking a break from fostering, letting our older dogs have a rest.

My family had a Great Dane mix when I was in high school/college and beyond. Gracie was a big black 3/4 Dane, 1/4 Lab rescue pup, heart of gold, brain of fluff, spoiled rotten gal. She was very black, very shiny, with a white Taj Mahal on her chest and white toes on her front feet. She lived to be 14 1/2, well beyond a Dane's "expected" age, which her vet attributed simply to her being loved so much and spoiled so much!

yep, I have one and hope to get another one some day. Here's a picture of my Brock with his buddy Brandy. Dane are great dogs, gentle and very loving. But of course when ours thinks he a lap dog and thats a little to loving.....

I haven't seen too many Danes around here, but I know that we have a Lab possibly Dane mix named Nala. I can't wait to see some more pictures of your dane! By the way, Welcome to Pet Talk!

Yes, I think my Nala girl is part Dane, as Dogz said.
