    Pictures of Injured Kitty

    Here's the original posting: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...threadid=32903

And here's pictures of the baby:

    Here's her updated story:

Flash on camera made his eyes look funny. His fractured pelvis and broken hip seem to be healing well. This was taken Sunday.
For those of you that didn't hear..... He was hit and in the turn lane on 51st ave near Indian School. It was rush hour and he looked dead. I had to stop and check, and he wasn't. This little guy won't need surgery and should make a full recovery. He is only about 6weeks old. He's sitting funny because he still hurts. It's only been a week.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

What a sweet and cute baby you are. "Lucky" would be the right name for you.

I am sure that you will have the best furrever home when you are back to health again.

He looks so sweet. What a lucky little kitten to have been rescued from the street in the nick of time and to receive such good medical care. I hope he heals soon.

Poor little kitty. I'm glad he's getting better. Make him purr some for me.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
