If you get the chance get out to see the planet Mars in the next few days!
look to the southern skies after 10 p.m.- you cannot miss it!!
binoculars are good, a telescope is better! you can see the southern polar ice cap!
i have been up at 3:30 for the last few evenings-
the last quarter moon rises in the east about 3 a.m......it's quite a beautiful sight...and it makes a great excuse for not going to work the next day...

Weather here is muggy with a few clouds in the sky but will watch for it.
BTW Richard: if you are outside watching it, make sure you are fully clothed this time......
