    Maddie went to the Rainbow Bridge

    Yesterday I took Maddie to a third vet who had absolutely no clue what was wrong with her. She had lost a pound in a week, was very dehydrated. They wanted to hospitalize her and stick all these tubes in her, and I could swear that she rolled her eyes at me when she heard that! So I was there while she was gently sent on her way. She can join all the other kitties there, and play with all the jingle balls she wants.

    Thanks, all you folks, for your prayers and good wishes. It just wasn't meant to be.

    I'm so sorry to hear that she's passed away. I know you did everything you could for her and I'm glad that she was able to let you know that it was time for her to go. This reminds me of what I went through with my RB Pepper. Rest in peace sweet Maddie. Now you're free to play at Rainbow Bridge. Please take care smokey the elder.
