Mystic is making a toupe for her Daddy

I groomed Mystic last night, keep in mind that I just groomed her last Thursday night as well.

She requested that I keep her fur so she can make a toupe for her Daddy as a gift for him.

    This is Mystic "Pre Grooming"

This is her making sure her "donation" is good enough.

This is a close up of how much came off her yesterday.

I think her "gift" is very close to being done already!!!

Wow! That's a lot of fur! I'll bet she is more comfortable now. Good luck creating the toupe!

That's a lot of hair! Ali sheds like that too...every time I brush her (which is daily) I get a least 5 brush fulls of hair. Good luck w/ making the toupe!

How does a black cat donate gray fur???? Perhaps to match her poppa? What a thoughtful girl!

LOL!! I think I might wet myself if Daddy actually "wears" that for a pic.

    Looking good Mystic!

I've often wondered the same thing, because when I comb Tubby it's gray also, and just as much, if not more, than what Mystic donated. I could brush Tubby every night and get a pile like that - it's just ridiculous!

Funny, must be something about black cats, Mystic, Tubby, Ali....what about Ebby and Olivia and any of the other black kitties out there, do they donate piles and piles like this?

Mystic, doesn't it feel good to be rid of all that excess? Tubby always feels like a spring chicken after he unloads like you did.

It's funny with Mystic, if she is out in the woods, all I have to do is whistle for her and say "Groom-time" or "Backrub" and she comes running from where ever she is.

Last night she actullay screamed as she came running to the deck. She talked to me the whole time she was being groomed.

    My Georgie sheds for Britain.

I recently bought one of those Shedding Blade that Miss Edwina & Tubby have been modelling with recently.

George LOVES it. He comes running if I pick it up. I can practical make a another kitten (Daily) out of his loose fur.

I keep expecting to find bald patches on him based on the amount he is loosing but no he has still has plenty of loose hair left for the carpet etc.

He looks thinner and his fur feels smoother and he must feel better.

Treacle my other black cat, is a sleek panther, who doesn't seem to shed at all..Go figure.

Wow that's amazing. I don't get nearly that much when I brush Mooky or Katie.

One thing though, once the toupe is finished, do we get to see pictures with daddy wearing it??

That's about as much as I get from Max 3 times a week. It's amazing how they don't look any skinnier for it.....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
