    poll on Dog Breeds

It is very hard to pick a breed you like the best, well, for me it is. I have had G.S.D's - Blue heelers -many Poodles - Bedlington Terrier -Hubby has a Doberman guard dog - a few ?? dogs - now have a cross bred.
For intelligence, I would go for the 3 = G.S.D., Poodle,Heeler....but the Bedlington is up there too....so how do you choose?

You say pinschers but do you mean Miniature Pinscher or Doberman Pinscher.

May I be so rude as to ask what your Box-Weiler is? I have a cross breed as well, so hope you are not offended in my asking. Regards Mich.

Hello angelzoo!......... In the time that we have talked, I forgot about our rescue Doberman. He is a reddish colour - - - and he is my Hubby's dog. he is beautiful looking, but has a certain look in his eyes when he does not trust someone. I have been there when he has had a go at a man.....no blood........just a warning and a mouthing. You can't blame the dog...........

It is a slow process to make a dog trust you.
    Regards Mich.

Mich: I had a rottieX foster, who had a male complex. Didn't go over too well, as at the time, I lived with 3 male room mates. It was tough indeed!
I'm going through a similar process with a 5 week feral kitten I just took in. She's learning quiet well however.

Years ago I took in a beautiful black kitten......we lived way out in the sticks......I didn't know it's parentage was feral, ( I Mean Feral)
I could not understand why it was so savage.......and it grew to be one huge cat. You know what calmed him? It was my little girl ...as she always used to sing her songs, and it followed her around like a dog - - just so long as you did not want to pick it up. They were great mates.

very cute dog! I like it. Unusual.
Looks a lot like a boxer but I really see the rottie in his eyes

Mich: Over the years I have noticed that kittens and cats tend to take to younger girls for some reason, it was even that way in my house hold. Just something about them I guess.
This little feral was found in a car engine about 5 days ago, and I took her from my co-worker and brought her here to reabiltate her.
I will have her for about 2-3 weeks more or until I feel satisfied with releasing her, and she will be going to my friends house about an hour from here.
