Can you floss a dogs teeth with human dental floss?
Can you floss a dogs teeth with human dental floss?
Im just curious
I would have to say no. Mainly because a dogs mouth is different from a humans and the floss is made for human use, so there might be something that could harm the dogs in it.
Besides would you really want to stick your hand in your dogs mouth and try to gloss their teeth? I know I wouldn't not only for the gross factor but also because my dogs won't let me.
Goonies never say die!
Thanks Amy for the great sig!
I think my dogs might eat me alive if I tried to floss their teeth. lol.
I'm sure Simba would allow me to floss his teeth, Nala wouldn't
I wouldn't try to floss your dogs teeth, ask your vet about it first.

ummm. actually i do floss alexs' but not like i do my own, i'm not getting between every tooth. when he sees me flossing my own, he waits till i can turn and holding a piece of floss (unflavored tape type) between my fingers about a foot apart he leans forward and gently bites it i release one end and pull the tape out of his mouth and we do this for a few minutes each day. and sometimes the tape gets gunky with food particles. he like this better then the tooth brushing.![]()
