    Hellp, he needs a home

    Look at this guy.
Can you belive he once was forced to spend almost all day, every day in a cage no bigger than him Never being loved, let outside and basically starved to death. Look at those brown spots on his rear, they are from where he had to lay in his own feces.

He now lives with a girl I work with, but she can't keep him because where she lives, they don't accept pets. She has until the end of this month to find him a home. Can any of you help? Please!
I went over today & visited with him and you wouldn't belive what a sweet and loving boy he is. He loves to give hugs, knows basic commands like sit and down. He can be let out without running off, he likes to stay right by your side. He is also good with children (she has a 3 yr old son & he's never growled or even tried to bite him). He's not a big barker, she said he hardly ever barks. Basically, he just wants to be loved and held. He is a full blooded English Setter (or so she was told). I was looking on the AKC and it says they don't have any curl, and he does, but he does look like one. They say their temperment is:
Gentle, affectionate, friendly, without shyness, fear or viciousness.
This so sounds like him, he is so gentle. I could go on and on about him, he is soooo sweet.
If you think you would like this guy or know someone who would, please pm, email or tell me in this post.
Here is a couple more pictures of him.

Oh, what a sweet boy. I pray that he finds a forever home very very soon. Only a few more weeks, and maybe one time one of these pleas can be answered by me. However, Kito doesn't get along with other males very well, so we would be getting a female.
He is a cutie, good luck and thanks to your friend for helping him out.

Has she contacted ES rescue??? I would be happy to help with transport if she can find a rescue to take him. Poor baby. I hope that idiot spends the last days of his life in a cage where he can't move and has to lay in his own filth.

Yes, any luck yet? I'm thinking of a freind of mine who was owned by two rescue purebred Pointers, who both died of old age within the past year ...

Oh Anna, your post made me cry. He is beautiful. And in true canine spirit, still loving and gentle despite such horrible neglect and abuse. I can't imagine the right family isn't out there. Did you try placing an "ad" on www.petfinder.com ?? I've had a lot of luck find and placing dogs through them. Just write what you wrote to us all....Prayers that he finds a loving home very soon.
