    Herding :D

i have just done a search for sheep herding clinics and have found that there are 3 coming up before then end of the year ~cheering~
and a bonus they are close to where i am (about an hours drive) sooo excited even if i just go and leave clover home (dont know if she would be a good herding dog,i think maybe the rotti in her would make her to mouthy with the sheep) but i will call the herding dog club tomorrow and book my place in one of the clinics and ask their advice (she is half australian cattle dog so maybe the instinct will overide the rottiness about her

well no harm in trying her with the sheep on lead just to see how she reacts to them ~ohh i cant wait~

There shouldn't be a problem with her learning to herd, for rotties were and are used as drovers, it is the cattle dog in her that will make her want to nip at the sheep.
