Yay! reptiles rock! Thanks for sharing!

How old are they? What's the little ones' story? What is the breeding age of desert tortoises? ^-^

    LOL!

Frankie is estimated to be around 30 years old.

The baby tortoises are about 6 years old.

The little ones story is, my moms friend had desert tortoises. To make a long story short, she ended up having babies, and my mom wanted to raise some (shes a tortoise freak..lol), so we took them in.

Hmm, do you have a permit for the babies too? All babies born in captivity have to leave the current home when they reach a year of age......

Your tortoise looks so much smaller than Lucy is. Lucy, we think is around 60 or so. He too has a nasty sheel with a bunch of scrapes but it's not broken or anything.

WolfChan, breeding age is around 25 years.

Here is a pic of Lucy, he's pretty dark.

Yes, I do have a permit from the Wildlife, Fish and Game.

If you looks on Frankies shell, right in the middle, there a tag on him, thats from the Fish and Game place. The babies have one too. Were waiting until the babies get bigger before we put theirs on.

    WOW! Lucys gorgeous!
