    The laundry helper (ie: battle)

What is it with the laundry basket at our house? Aparently, its the best seat we have...

I was folding clean, warm boxers and undies the other day and Livvy found me and promptly jumped in the basket...

    **Like that attitude??**

I let her stay there and just grabbed the stuff around her. Each time, she gave me a hard time...

    "MY boxers!!!!"

I did all I could without disturbing her highness too much and decided to let her be...

"Thanks mom, I think I'll have a bath now."

Oh the joy of female cats. Gotta love them!!

LOL Great pics. My cats like to jump in the laundry basket too but luckily they do it when it's empty.

Oh yes, those female kitties is right. Just like my Katie girl. I have to fight with her everytime she sees me taking the clothes out of the dryer she tries to get in before I'm finished. Of course I win the dryer part, but loose out on the laundry basket. Oh well, another day of waiting to put the laundry away til her highness wakes up.

Great pictures NoahsMommy. I love the attitude one. It's almost like Livvy is thinking, "What, you got a problem with this".

    LOL

That is so cute! How can you resist that cute little face?

Pixel is even worse ... she decides it's Play Time when I am doing anything relating to laundry and chases me around. She also jumped on the ironing board when the iron was on the other day!

Heh...Ritzy becomes a "heat seeking kitty" every time I bring a load of towels in from the dryer....she seems perplexed here that all she found was this lousy sock!

Bastet not only likes to hop in the basket when folding but also to make sure that the washing machine did its job and lick all the clothes she can clean!

Don't ask me I am only her human

For me, the cats only like the laundry baskets when they are empty but I'm sure they'd like it more if they figured out that it's a lot more comfortable with clothes in it!

all mine love the laundry basket as well, they love it when i bring clothes in from the dryer all that warmness I guess.I gave up trying to get the fur off of the clothes,If people dont like it,I just say,i have 6 kitties, not much i can do about it,I love them all and not gonna to say stay off me.I always judge people on how they treat kids and small animals.Anyways, all mine have fun playing and digging in the clean warm clothes. And try sneaking out to the washer and dryer without one noticing..unless it is 10am manditory kitty sleep hour lol

Mandy loves to get in a basket of freshly dried clothes as well. They only thing with her is that I have to fight her for the clothes so I can fold and put it away.

It doesn't matter where Jack is or what he is doing, as soon as he hears the dryer door open, he's right there waiting to jump in the laundry basket. He loves freshly dried clothes. And when I go to fold the clothes he's right there fighting to keep the clothes in the hamper.

Ali is the other way around...she likes to sleep in our dirty clothes I once went to empty out one of our hampers and noticed that it was a little heavier than normal. I didn't pay attention to it, but when I dumped it out I noticed that a piece of my laundry scampered out of the pile...well, it wasn't a piece of laundry, it was Ali. I didn't notice her because it was a little dark in the room at the time and she blended in w/ the clothes.
