I have a new JOB (Temp)

After being out of work for months, I have a JOB.

It is only for three months but there will be a chance to apply for the position (As a perment job) near the end of the three months.

They choose me via an agency just based on my CV..So I spent this morning there as a working interview and they took me on(But the agency will pay me for this morning )

I met my new boss, who is really nice but I won't see her for the next three weeks as she is off on leave but she has left me plenty of work.

It is well paid and only 15 minute drive from our home.

Bearing in mind that I had to drive between 40 minutes & 1.5 hours EACH way to my last job, so you can tell how happy I am.

I just hope I do well at the job and get a perment position.

    Congratulations on the new job!
It sounds like it is close enough that you can visit your kitties at home on your lunch break too!

When I first saw this thread, I thought for sure the job would be at the cat shelter or that you would be fostering kittens.

Congratulations! I'm very pleased for you. Hope this works out well. It sounds so promising!

Congratulations! Quite often the temp jobs do become permanent. Keeping fingers and paws crossed for you.

Well Done Jenny - many Congratulations

Many years back I used to work for a temp., agency and once when I was doing a two week stint at a firm - I got offered the job - permanently! Trouble was - the hours were too long and I wasn't at all keen on the job So I turned it down.

But hopefully in your case - a permanent position will come from this - Good Luck!
