    TLC Walkathon

Well, this year Killian did not make the Walkathon (I didn't think he'd ride in a wagon for me). It was sad that he was not with us. This was a few weeks ago, the day before he became very ill. So it's a good thing I didn't make him go (he was signed up for it). The neighborhood shelter made $7605!!! Here is our finishing line picture: Shiloh finishes
Shiloh also won a ribbon for Silly Pet Trick. She can balance a goodie on her nose and on command, flip it and catch it.

I missed Killian being there. He is the reason for my getting involved in rescue.

Oh, Sue!! I"m sure the day was bittersweet for you. But as things turned out, it was for the best that he stayed home I'll bet Killian missed being there too! But Shiloh, I know you represented your big bro in your heart! That picture of her is the best, Sue! What a winner!! And Star is in awe of her restraint! That cookie wouldn't have lasted a second on her nose!

Too bad Killi wasn't up for the Walk!
But we're SURE he was there in SPIRIT!

And there's always next year... Huh, Kili!?

I also forgot to mention that Shiloh is a team walker and not good as a lone walker. She zig-zags the whole time unless Killi is there to keep her walking straight. She has always been like that. I call her Ziggy. So she got twice as much exercise at that Walkathon! Back and forth, back and forth.....drives ya crazy!!!

Wow! Sue that's A LOT of money! Congrats. Poor Killi, I'm sure he missed it as much as you missed him being there, but, like you said, it was for the best. Maybe next year!!

So sorry Killi couldn't go, but I am sure he was there in spirit! I laughed at your Ziggy comment on Shiloh!!

Congrats to the shelter on raising such an impressive amount of money!
