    cats and moving

    Hi All..
I was just looking for some expert opions and shared experiences from anyone who has moved long distances with their cats. I am probably moving to Scotland for 6 months and could not bear the thought of leaving my kitties behind, (although they could stay with my mother who would take excellent care of them). I am concerned though, about what the move would be like for them, especially the plane ride. Has anyone travelled by plane with their cats? Please help..

Here's a link with information on flying with pets:

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
