    Oh, Toronto ...

Paul and I unexpectedly will be attending an ALA conference for my "other" job at the convention center in Toronto the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of June - so next weekend!

Any Toronto Pet Talkers want to try to get together either Saturday or Sunday evening?

You'd have to figure out where,, etc., as we've never been to Toronto before, but it's a possibility!

Now if you were coming to Calgary Karen, I'd be all for it but well Toronto's a little to far away for me.

Thanks Amy for the great sig!

Have fun here! Next weekend, I'm busy on Saturday, don't know about Sunday. But hope you have fun! I'll see if I could come on Sunday then.

    Have Fun!

    Bump!

Wish I could too. Didn't Paul say something about you guys thinking about a trip to the Great Downunder?

A trip "down under" is not on the immediate horizon, but some day!

I would love to meet but I'm not sure if I'll be in Toronto next weekend!

If I am in Toronto, Sunday would be the best day to meet for me. Why don't you PM me the specifics (hotel, time of departure etc.) and we can talk during next week? I'll have a better idea of my weekend plans later next week.

    Karen,

My children have mutual friends who live in Toronto & they
each visit there often. I've never been there myself. Does the
recent SARS scare make you nervous about going there?

Oh No anyplace but toronto. SARS is always on the news here & I'm only 4 hrs way in Ottawa. If it wasn't in Toronto I'd go no prob. I've been hoping to meet a PT someday. But so far no luck

It doesn't, though maybe it should! I am not a "worrier," but Paul and his mom both are.

My boss, the one sending us there said, "I'm not worried - but if you get sick, or hurt, DON'T go to a Toronto hospital! That's where the SARS is!"

We're hoping for a Sunday evening meeting time, Bluekat, I've got Lailamara's phone number, and will call her some time that Saturday to figure out a time/place!

kingrattus - if we let you know where/when, it'll be Sunday evening, might you come? We'd love to meet you, too! It's entirely up to you, of course.
