Peachy you story has me so totally puzzled! How in the world could someone abandon a precious little one like you! They truly did not deserve you in the first place! I am so glad you have a new home now with lots of love and little kitty playmates. My Bella also lives with cats (occasionally asking me why I don't get her a doggie friend ) and she loves her raw veggies too. Geez, you're cute, Peachy! And I'm not surprised that you fit into a "cat" household! When my son Richard was preschool age (and already a cat-lover), we were admiring some Pomeranian puppies in the pet store window, and he was convinced by their orange color and pointy ears that they were kittens! I had a hard time getting him to accept that they were in fact puppies!

Unfortunatley, doggies being left at groomers happens more often than people know. The mentality is that if they are cleaned up and cute, somebody will want to take them home because typically, a person who takes their pet to the groomers has a soft spot for animals and takes good care of the one they have. They figure they might have a better chance there than at the shelter. Regardless, I'm glad Peachy had luck with her that day.
