Some guy was going to flush, literally FLUSH 9 goldfish down the toilet. My mom took 5 and her co-worker took 4. We got them a 10 gallon take and we are about to put them in there. It figures the lights won't work, though. I'll tell ya how they like it once we get them all settled!

I was told goldies, being particularly dirty fish, need 15 gallons each!!!
I personally have 2 in a 20 gallon, but I think 5 in a 10 may be a little small - not so much in terms of space but in terms of water quality.
Good on your Mom for saving them.

That is so good that your mom saved them! That would be horrible if someone just flushed fish down the toilet!
