Going to the vet for Fluids!

The kittens are all feeling really bad.... very congested, coughing really bad, runny noses and eyes... just plain miserable!!! I'm going at 1:30 to get them some fluids!!! Don't want to risk an emergency situation over the weekend!

Good luck Kim. Keep us posted.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I just can't get over what a good kitty mommy you are! I'm sooo glad you're thinking ahead, knowing it's a holiday weekend and all. I sure hope they improve somewhat today so they're over the worst over the weekend and don't keep you worrying all weekend.

I know we've all said it before, but I think you can't hear it enough - especially when you're going through such a tough time....Thanks so much for taking such good care of all these kitties. It was certainly their lucky day when they were brought into your loving care (and your hubby's too).

I just got back from getting them all subcue fluids! It was a long, and unhappy process for the babies, but they are all fast asleep now ... and much cooler! The tech sent the remaining bag with fluid home with me, in case they need more the next day or so. The biggest threat is always dehydration, so we should be protected against that now!

Thanks so much for all the encouraging words... feeling a bit teary again right now .... just tired .... your support is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

    HUGS TO YOU ALL!
