    Rescue Dog Success Story

    My foster dog, Neeva, passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen test tonight with flying colors. In August, Neeva will be going to live with her new owner who plans to compete with her in obedience and to work with her in Search and Rescue!!

    What an exciting success story! This is a fantastic dog that was surrendered for fence jumping and because her owner was moving. She is such a great dog - a three year old German Shepherd.

    So Neeva goes from being an unwanted dog to a Canine Good Citizen with a future in SAR! I am so happy for this wonderful dog!

    She also is getting along wonderfully with my dog (her "foster brother") Atlas.

    Thanks for the well wishes for Neeva and the compliment on Atlas. He is my baby! But I have fallen in love with Neeva - she is such a great dog. I am very happy that her new owner is one of our best friends so I will get to see her all the time!!!

    Congrats to Neeva! It warms my heart to hear these kinds of success stories. I'm glad you will be able to see her on a regular basis and she is going to be a Search and Rescue Dog!!!! What a wonderful life!

    Thank you so much for fostering Neeva!! What a wonderful life she will now have, because of YOU!! A SAR dog!!!!! I am impressed!!! WOW!!

    BTW, both Neeva and Atlas are gorgeous (and handsome)!!!!!
