    New Cat Enclosure

We did it!! We built a 8' x 5' x 4' cat enclosure!! We still have to attach the door and cover it with the tarp, but its there and almost done!! All we need is Gracie.

    Here are some pictures:

It was really hard to build on the balcony. The balcony is 5.5' wide, so my hubby was hanging over the railing a lot. But its there and almost done. I know Gracie will really like it.

The plants in there are all kitty friendly, which is good cause now we only have a 5'x5' area for the BBQ and the non-kitty-friendly plants.

    How COOL!

Great job! My hubby built one in our garage for our crew .... he did that back last year after I had been hospitalized for 5 days from a bad asthma attack! My doctors of course said get rid of my cats.. um, yea right ..... so my hubby built our garage enclosure ... of course they still come into the main house and even sleep with us at times! (Don't tell my doctors!) hahaha

I would attach photos of ours, but my computer was "fried" from a
direct lightning hit... so I am using hubby's .... I don't have my files on his!

GREAT JOB! Can't wait for Gracie to move in!

OMG! That is soo kitty heaven! You guys did such a great job.. we need to get on the kitty communication network and send an instant kitty message to Gracie that she needs to come right away. Kitty paradise is waiting for her at your house!

I'm so glad you all like it!!!

I just know Gracie will like it! I'm thinking of drapping the side with a sheer fabric, so she'll feel a little more safe at first.

If Gracie finds out about this place, she'll be knocking on the trapping cage, asking to be let in !!

That looks great, what a wonderful place for Gracie!!!

I haven't been following Gracie's story in the past, but I have just read in the other topic that she's a stray, not a feral, and I hope she will finally be trapped and become a happy cat in her new home! Good luck!

Way to cool. She doesn't know what she's missing by not getting trapped.
Which is the height dimention (in other words, can you stand up in there)?
Also, from the way Bonnie reacted the first minutes she was at my house and confined to this one room, make sure everything that can be knocked over and cause damage be OUTSIDE the enclosure until she get settled. The very first thing Bonnie did was shoot out of the carrier and try to climb the walls. she was afraid of the confinement. I had to take everything off of the shelves in fear of something falling on her.

    Wow! Good Work!

That looks like a great enclosure! Well done I would type more but my ratbag cat has sprawled herself all over my laptop, especially the mousepad!!
