There is a wonderful dog that is available for adoption at the Lancaster Shelter (suburb of Buffalo, NY). I would love to adopt her myself, but I am still in the process of closing on my house and won't be able to adopt for about a month. Katie came to the shelter very terrified and stayed in back of her cage hiding her face and shaking for days. As frightened as she was she never displayed any fear aggression. Katie is feeling more comfortable and accepting the TLC that she is being given by the dog control officer and volunteer. She is medium size.
