You might want to put this is dog behavior and maybe be a little more specific on what you want to teach Copper

I suggest starting with sit. It's simple, and the foundation for everything else. Once copper knows what he's supposed to do, do this...tell him to sit (or whatever you teach him) if he doesn't do it..walk away...just ignore for a few minutes...and then try again..when he does, praise like crazy. This teaches him that he must listen the first time..not the 3rd...4th or 5th. Good luck!

i agree, start with sit. Then work on the relationship of trust, cause they wont do anything if there is no trust.
