    A beautiful day means a trip to the Dog Park! PICS!!

    Sunday was gorgeous! 73, sunny, with just enough breeze so that it wasn't too hot.

    I was a little worried that Kia wouldn't be interested in swimming or would be too nervous and that I'd have to train her all over again.

    But what was I thinking!?!?

    Tossed in a twig (I had left her water toy at home )

    Look at ME mommy!


    Got the stick!


    Now I'm gonna CHEW da stick!


    Then along came Vice the GSD and Tonka, the Malamute. Vice's momma tossed in a tennis ball.... Go get it Vice! Vice sed, no WAY!


    So I pointed and said, Get the ball Kia! And.. she did.






    Good girl!!

    And was rewarded.


    Mommy is so silly. I LOVE to swim!

    This feller was 250 lbs! Wish I got a pic of me standing next to him. His back came up to my waist!

    Kia looks like she's having a blast and keeping cool! What a fun dog - and a nice mommy, to drive home with a wet dog in the car!

    Those are GREAT! I wish we had a park like that. Ours is stupid. It's just a fenced square with nothing in it and it cost $25/dog. Thanks for sharing!!

    Kimmy, what great pictures you took!!! I love each and everyone of them. Looks like Kia had a ball and what good looking furry company she had!! The water looks so nice and the weather just as gorgeous as you described!!

    I don't think dogs ever forget how to swim. It's in their blood!!

    Great Pictures!! Looks like you guys had a blast! We went to the Bowling Green Dog Park Saturday and Sunday, but no where to swim I really want to get our dogs up to the Bark Park this summer!!!

    Kia is sooo beautiful!!! Wonderful pictures!! It looks like she really had a good time at the park--swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I wish we had a dog park, much less a place that dogs are allowed to swim. I can't wait to take Riley out this summer--I know he'll be a swimmer!!!!!
