Thread: George our hero

    George our hero

As I wrote under General, our Milly went outside for the first time today.

George was also outside sunbathing in the garden. When he saw Milly in the garden, he ran over to her (with his tail in the happy position) and they had a nice friendly sniffing session.

A short time later Milly was cornered in the next garden by a curious grey cat.

Milly cried out as she was scared and I called her but she wouldn't walk passed this grey cat.

George heard Milly cry. So he sat up and ran into the next garden and chased the grey cat away from Milly, growling all the way.

What a brave boy. I am pleased he is looking out for his little sister.

In fact George & Milly are asleep on the same sofa after todays tiring adventures.
(Though they have a cushion in between them, else Milly 'accidently' stretches and pokes George in the belly. Maybe one day we can remove the cushion)

Good boy, George! Little sis may be a bit of a nuisance, but you love her anyway, don't you.

What a great story - Millie is very lucky to have such a great big brother like George to look out for her!

(And to think a few weeks ago we were all wondering if the two of them would EVER get along!!!

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!

Yes, Milo being in the house and playing with Milly has really helped the George/Milly relationship.

Awww, that's so sweet! And so typical of siblings. They fight like cats and dogs (sorry ) until an "outsider" interferes, then they stand up and fight for each other as if their life depended on it.

Geoge is such a good big brother, he just doesn't like being poked all the time.

Awwww. What a wonderful big brother you are George!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Yes, I think he does like her (now he isn't bounced on 24/7) and it makes me happy that he's looking out for her.

His behaviour really surprised me. (In a good way)
