My dog likes *treats*

I am very embarresed to say this but...my dog likes to eat his, and other dogs feces. I get so mad at him when he does it, and I have tried these pills my vet gave me to have him stop. But it don't work! I am so frustrated and I really want to know why he likes doing this. Could it be harming him? Will he ever stop this? If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Not sure what to tell you.....I know there's several items on the market that's supposed to stop that....maybe you could try something else.
