    Nebo and his new friend Pookie <pics>

    I took Nebo to work with me today. He didn't get a bath, but he got the whole teeth brush, nail clip, ear cleaning, etc. a his coat blown out/brushed. Oh my is he ever SHEDDING right now!! Anyway...lol..

    These pics were taken before any of that...another groomer also brought her dog, Pookie. She's an 8 year old black and tan coonhound mix. They *sort of* played...it mostly consisted of Nebo following Pookie around wanting to play, and Pookie growling at him...but they did actually wrestle around a bit too.

    I took some pics...In person it looks like they are close to the same size....Pookie outweighs him by a good 20 + lbs lol...seems strange to me. Oh, and please don't mind that toolchest in the back that's sideways, heh...they waxed the floor and kind of killed it, but it's fixed now.

    p.s. A group of children on a field trip from a special needs school came and were staring through the window at Nebo..I brought him out and let them pet him. They were all so excited to see a "Snow Dog!" hehe One of them asked if I could pick him up, so I did, then they wanted me to hold him belly up and rock him like a baby LOL...that didn't happen. And they all thought he was a girl....actually, everyone today thought he was a girl...maybe it was the cheesy easter bandana? lol

    Lucky Nebo didn't get a bath! At least that is what Cisco would say. Pookie def. has the coon hound in her. She looks a little grey in the face and like she is a sweet girl. Maybe Nebo could do pet therapy. It sounds like he has geat potential for doing such work.

    Wow Amy--a dog bigger than Nebo--he didn't know what to do I bet!!! Pookie is cute!!!
    Nebo's lucky he didn't have to get a bath, even though he is exploding right now--just like Kito!!!

    Oh, Pookie's a cutie! And of course, I've always thought that Nebo was such a cute boy! Thanks for sharing the pics, I really enjoyed them! You're so lucky for getting to take him to work with you, what a great job!

    AWW...sounded like u had a fun day. I wish i could bring my dogs to my work..hehe..(I work at a steak house...they would be beggin the whole time)..lol. Pookie sure does a some black n' tan coonhound in her~! Shes a cutie...and Nebo always has been~!!! Thanx for sharing...can't wait to see more~!

    LOL! thats sooo cute! pookie is adorible! sounds like nebo had a fun day (except for getting brushed, nails done, ect) lol. that third pic of pookie (i LOVE that name ) is adorible! And i like the last pic of nebo the best. thanks for sharing!

    Oh, and Pookie is probably pretty close to a purebred black and tan coonhound...the groomer got her as a tiny pup from the shelter...Apparently a coonhound breeder dropped an entire litter of puppies off because they didn't like who the female was bred to.

    That is horrible!! I'm glad Pookie got to a good home!

    I would love your job.... looks like Nebo and Pookie were having a fun time at their mommie's work.

    Funny though... every time I heard the name Pookie I would think of a small dog.... but I think Pookie... fits Pookie.. just great!!

    LOL! Pookie's a real cutie. I'm glad he got a good home.

    I loved this pic! Kia's back legs do that same slide when she's sitting on tile or linolium, waxed or not.
