    Miami Airport rabbits

Miami International Airport has been planning to kill its rabbits. I guess there is some hope for some of the rabbits. Steven Rosen offered to fly the rabbits to a Texas ranch.

Paul, we have a very beautiful cemetary here with a replica of the Lord Tennyson Chapel, "The Chapel of the Roses" in it with cages of live birds singing in the chapel and on each side of the pews beautiful growing flowers.
There are only small markers for graves, and we have many, many rabbits who come out at night to eat the grass, actually the chapel is used for weddings also and our daughter got married there. We can always tell there are many rabbits by the pellets left behind, lol

Interesting. Mr. Rosen sounds like a true animal lover, I certainly hope that is what happens.
Did you see the cost comparison?? $7500 for him to do it, and $20000 for them to be shot with pellet guns--no question to me what should be done.

There is something that strikes me as strange about this situation.

They knew they had rabbits...........a few........and rabbits being well.......rabbits - now they have lots of rabbits. Only until the situation is totally out of control their only solution is to go out and shoot them?

Wouldn't it have been better to address the situation some time ago, and trap the few before this became such a horrible situation?

I hope that the rabbits are saved and relocated!

I would hope they let Mr. Rosen take the Bunny's,
    instead of shooting them.

Jackie, Where my mother is burried
    they have wild rabbits too.
At dusk sometimes you can seem them come out and eat.
