    Trusty's headed to the Rainbow Bridge

    Trusty will be PTS tomorrow.

    He is the german shorthair, my friend's dad's old "hunting dog" that lived in horrible conditions. It took him not eating for 3 days and not being able to walk for her dad to finally "get it" that the dog was dying. He's the one that threatened to dump my friend's dog, Lady, if we did anything with "his" dogs. I'm amazed he's actually having the decency to put the poor old dog out of his misery. Maybe he's finally realized that animals have feelings too. Doubt it.

    Rest in Peace Trusty...you'll be at a much better place now.

    It sounds as if this will be the most generous thing he has ever done for this dog. My thoughts will be with you and your friend, and Trusty, who will finally be painfree and living in a beautiful place.

    I agree with Logan, sadly, from what you have told us, this is the nicest thing he has ever done for Trusty.
    Rest in Peace, Dear Trusty, and you will enjoy a much better and loving life at the Rainbow Bridge.

    I wish it didn't have to be so, but, beautiful Trusty, please know that you are very loved and many are holding you in their thoughts and prayers as you leave for the Rainbow Bridge. May you never know a sad, lonely or painful day ever again. We have all come to love you, dear heart. Now you can run and play and bark and kick up your paws like you were never able to do in your earthly life. So many wonderful doggies are waiting to greet you and keep you company until that happy day when you and your person are reunited in love. WolfQ, please tell your friends that we are thinking of her and Trusty during this sad time.

    Oh dear, I thought I was going to go a week without crying....

    Dear Trusty: I hope you have a safe trip to the RB and please say HI to my doggie friend Trixie. No more pain from now on!

    Trusty - you will now be in the place you deserve to be - the Rainbow Bridge.
    All the doggies there will love you like you have never been before.

    Rest in Peace, precious sweetheart {{{tears}}}

    Safe trip to the RB Trusty where you can run but never tire
    and roll in the sweet green grass to you hearts content.
    Where beautiful sun filled afternoons are just made for
    peaceful snoozes in a shady glen. May love & peace
    surround you as you meet up with many long lost friends.
