“I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running
from one falling star to another till i drop. This is the night, what it does to you.
I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion.”

Cute pictures!!! Looks like your dogs enjoyed the cold! My sister also lives in Texas and from what my mom said, her Dane liked it, but her Dal wanted nothing to do with the snow!
so cute!!!
My dogs walk on the ice as if it isn't there--I'm struggling to stand up, and they're just flying over it.

Love the pictures!thanks for sharing.

Yep, I got off of work for 2 days straight because everything was closed down around here! As Amy said, Monday night, as the ice started coming, Destiny was scared and didn't want to go out. She just sat at the sliding door watching Brian play with Dakota and me taking pictures outside. She just sat there and looked at us like we were crazy. On Tuesday, however, she went right out there and had a blast playing with Dakota in it. I think it was the ice factor that really scared here as she could barely walk. Dakota, she had a blast though. She thought it was so cool. It was halarious to see her playing out there. I did take pics on MOnday night, but I haven't gotten them developed yet and I have no idea how they're going to turn out. Hopefully they'll turn out good because the white stuff is quickly melting away today as things return to normal in the weather around here.
As for us, we also had a blast. We spent most of our Tuesday afternoon in the street with most of our neighbors as all sorts of sleds were coming out of the works, from actual sleds to laundry baskets attached to ropes, as the kids, and some of us wives, got pulled and pushed up and down the icy street. It was a blast. Our whole street was one big ice rink for us to play on. The kids even got out their power wheels and had a blast trying to ride those as many adults watched to ensure their safety! I think everybody had fun, but it soon was too cold to stay out any longer so we all went in and enjoyed some hot cocoa and hot chocolate! It was a great day along our street! (Brian did pull out the video camera for a little bit but didn't get to tape very much to do a very low battery!)
