I want to add a question: Have the pads of your cat the same colour than the nose? Filou and Tigris have rosewood noses (the colour -the material is rubber ) and dark pads.

Technically Tama's nose leather is old rose and his paw pads are mauve, but it looks like the same color to me!!

Cookies paw pads are all pink except for one in the back that is half pink, half black and her paw pads and nose change color. When she's cold her nose turns white and when she gets all excited and gets that blood flowin, her nose and pads turn dark pink.

no picture, but I was noticing how Jim who has white legs and feet (and a tabby pattern across his back) has black pads. I was surpised that they were not pink.

my tux kitty, Biddy, who had white front toes and white back feet, has pink toe pads and the larger pad at the heel is black.

Clyde has all black pads except for one front toe which is pink.
His nose is half black and half pink, and it will turn very pale when he is tired or cold.

Maya has pinky nose and pads and Bodhi has darker nose and pads.
Edwina you sure are one gracious little kitty.You could teach Maya a few things about cooperative posing for the camera.

What a great thread! For some reason I love kitty paws - I even like the way they smell! Since you've already seen Squirt's pads, I'll have to take a picture of Gus' tonight and post it.....I think his are all pink.

First of all, its hard to get photos of paw pads! I did get one photo showing one foot anyway.
My cat Samantha may be unusual in that all of her paw pads are black just like her nose is even though the fur around them is all white!
I have seen other black and whites like Cookie who have the pink to match the white fur.
My guess is that since Samantha's mother was a tuxie with more black fur that Sam got her black pads and nose from her side of the family.
