Need Help With Avatar

I am trying to make my avatar with Gypsy and Gracie in it, I was wondering how you do it..
It says the pic is too big, when I resize it, it's still too big.
HELP!!!!

First; here's the "Rules"...
**Note:
**the Maximum Size of your custom Avatar Image
**is 60 by 60 pixels or 20,000 bytes
**(whichever is smaller).

Best way do make one the fits is to

First: CROP the image to the smallest size you can - leaving only the part of the original image that you want to feature.

Next: Use your resolution and/or Size Reduction software to Reduce the largest (either Vertical or Horizontal) dimension to 60 pixels, and a maximum of 20,000 bytes in size.
Note: Change only the LARGER dimension to "60"; and let the software adjust the smaller dimension - to keep the picture's original HxW ratio intact and not distort the photo.

Last: SAVE the image on your Hard Drive.
Then tell Pet Talk the location of your newly reduced photo.

Get back to us if you have any trouble.

Thank you, I have been trying all day to get this thing to change sizes...
I can't seem to get it done...
I can change it to 60 pixels, but the size still keeps the same...

Ok gonna attach the pics now. Just save them to your computer and then you can upload them to Pettalk under your avatar thingy. If you want me to make a signature with more pics let me know. I can even animate it if you want.

Really, I don't want to be a bother, but if you have fun doing this, I would like pics of my three dogs (the new yorkie belongs really to my grandma who lives with us) and then their names flashing, like a pic of Gracie, and then it says Gracie, a pic of Draven and it says Draven, and a pic of Gypsy and then it says Gypsy.

But that is only if you are going to have fun doing it, otherwise it's okay, it's a really big help with the avatar already..

Congrats on the lovely avatar. I only learned how to do this recently and I am proud of my pics, too. I want to redo it in better quality if I can. Now you need to learn to insert photos in your posts so you can share more of them with us!
