strange breed...

I as taking Tikeya for a extra HUGE walk today around like 5 blocks and I saw this AWSOME looking dog being walked by a women with an english accenent. I thought it was so funny, we both love each others dog so much. We were talking about how "She wanted a siberian husky" and "I wanted her breed of dog," I wasnt sure what breed it was, it looked like a mini Akita.

It had the shortest cury tail, it was super cute. She told me the breed but I couldent understand what she had said .. kinda stupid. So I thought I'd find a pic here and see if anyone knows much about the breed...





it looked like a keeshond but not as fluffy and it was a bit taller.

Was it some kind of spitz? Japanese spitz maybe?

Actually come to think of it the dog is probably a Norwegian Elkhound.

YES it was that breed kater. OMG I love it . thanks for finding it for me . do you knwo much about it? the dog I seen was so mice and friendly I loved him..

I don't know much about the breed, really. But my Dad's family grew up with one around. He loved that dog. Also at the only dog show I've ever been to, we made a point to meet some Elkhounds and they were sweeties too.
