Oh, heck yeah - in fact, my kitty will stop what he's doing if he even hears the lens opening up on the digital camera, before I even snap the pic! It's the same when I try to watch what he's doing when he's playing - if he so much as hears a floorboard creak or hears me breathing, he stops and stares at me.

Aren't they just cute!!It keeps amaze me what control cats over their muscles. Sometimes they can stand there like frozen, in the most awkward positions!

That is so cute! My two will stop when they hear the lens opening also. If I really want to get a picture, I try and open the lens away from them so I don't distract, but then my coming into the room distracts them so there's really no hope.
