Dearest Bella, a.k.a. "Miss Bella" or "Miss Princess," you are beautiful indeed! What a stunning Boxer lady you are! You're so cute in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. What a great Christmas reindeer you make! And you're so sweet with your Boxer brother Rocky, a.k.a. Big Rock, both in your bright red Christmas ribbons. What a story you have to tell! I am so very glad and grateful that you were rescued from the pound just in time, and my deepest gratitude and appreciation to your dear Mom and aunt for saving you. And my deepest sympathy to all the precious dogs and other animals that weren't rescued in time.
You were skin and bones when you were rescued, but since you've been HOME you've gained 20 pounds and a lot of energy. You and also-rescued-Rocky both love to run about in your house, and grab socks, shoes, pillows, or toys, and shake and throw them. You're SO happy to greet your dear family when they come home! You offer love, comfort, and the glory of companionship. You boys love your home and family, and you know that you are loved. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
And what a wonderful heartfelt plea you make: "Please save other dogs as I have been saved - they have so much to offer." May many more people be so moved!
Congratulations, darling Bella, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear Rocky and Mom and aunt and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
