    Precious Pug Buster!

Hi Buster! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!

What a beautiful, pawsitively precious Pug you are, Buster! Seeing your heart-melting photos up on my Dog of the Day page this morning, your huge, pleading, brown eyes staring back at me, not to mention that trademark smooshy Pug, face have my heart in full out meltdown mode! Who could resist a pup as adorable as you!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your first human, as well your Mom losing her beloved Pug, Zoe. But as fate would have it, two souls in need of love and healing find their way to one another and one heavenly match is made!

Endless thanks to your dear furever Mom for welcoming you into her home and heart in your time of need, assuring that forever and always you would be cared for and loved unconditionally...dare I say spoiled? And in return, each and every day you return that love a zillion fold, bringing so much joy to her life!

What a lucky Mom is your, Buster, having been blessed with a fur baby as adorable, as sweet and loving, as special as you! You've even taken up the role of big brother to the outdoor kitties! Beautiful inside and out, a friend to all, that's Buster!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, cutie pie! Meeting you today, reading your Mom's love filled tribute, your heartwarming rescue story, has been such a treat! I hope you're being treated to a very special Dog of the Day celebration...pulling out your impressive assortment of toys, play tug-o-war with your Mom; chowing down on some yummy treats; receiving bunches of cuddles and skritches; being spoiled to the max and loved to bits! Lots of love, snuggles and slobbery smooches to you, adorable Buster, our very special and most deserving Dog of the Day, EVERY day!!! Love to all of your outdoor kitty pals too! And great thanks to your Mom's roommate for caring for them!

    SO sweet!!!

Dearest Buster, you are precious indeed! What a gorgeous Pug guy you are, with that sleek, soft-looking coat and that sweet face with the lovely big brown eyes. And what a wonderful story you have to tell! Your dear Mom adopted you from a Pug Rescue in Huntsville, Texas after losing her beloved pug Zoe to renal cancer. You were at the rescue after losing your own original person. Clearly you and Mom were destined to be together and help bring each other some comfort! We thank and bless those fine folks, human and canine, of Pug Rescue for the wonderful work they do!

Now you are living a terrific life with plenty of food, which you look for more of with those huge puggie eyes. You have loads of toys, and you love playing tug-of-war with them. You're also good friends with the outside feral cats. Your Mom's dear roommate cares for these dear cats, and we thank and bless her/him and you, Buster, for looking after these precious cats. Buster, you act like you're their big brother! You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Buster, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear Mom and roommate and feral cat friends and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know Zoe Angel is rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
